Proverbs 29:15-17

¹⁵ The ^(A)rod and reproof give wisdom,
But a child ^[a]left to himself ^(B)brings shame to his mother.
¹⁶ When the wicked ^[b]increase, transgression increases;
But the ^(C)righteous will see their fall.
^17 (D)Discipline your son, and he will give you rest;
And he will ^(E)give delight to your soul.
